My birthday celebration with my cell group

I am so bless to have friends to celebrate my birthday with. My cell group organised a birthday and christmas dinner. We sang some christmas songs, drank champagne and enjoyed cheese fondue on a cold winter evening. What a bliss to stay indoors and just enjoy fellowship with each other. We did gift swaps, not as fanatic as in LRC. phew... My cell gave me a german NIV bible and it was really what I always wanted as I have a king james german bible. Finally I have a portable german bible to take along to church and cell. We had a great evening just being with each and the the desert, heavy duty choco orange cake ended the evening blissfully. So forget about dieting during this season, I shall do more exercise next year ;-) ... promise.

My birthday celebration

I have been so bless to read of all the greetings and postings on Facebook from all over the world, from family and friends. Thanks you so much guys for making me feel so special and love.

Here are some pictures taken during my birthday lunch at my home. I had invited a few close friends and just had a nice time enjoying each other's company. I feel so blessed and privledge to have all of you in my life.

My cake was specially made by a dear malaysian friend Chong who lives in Zurich. I have finally found someone who makes great pandan cake !!! Chong made me chocolate orange cake, dusted with pearls and gold dusts. The picture I have taken does not do justice, it taste heavenly too. My first cake made by the hands of a malaysian !! A prophetic act reminding me of goodness and mercy from God.
ALL OF YOU ARE SUCH A TREASURE TO ME, THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY DAY SO SO SPECIAL, WISH I COULD CELEBRATE IT WITH ALL THOSE TOO OUTSIDE OF THE BOUNDARIES OF EUROPE.

Spending a day with my god daughter Jordan

I spend a day with my god daughter Jordan, she has recently just turn 9 years old and we had a good time making bee wax candels. Another nice activity to do and making your own candels as a christmas gifts. We enjoyed the day eventhough it was freeeezing cold, below zero degree in a non heated tent.

Ice Skating

My cell group visited the local ice skating ring down town. It is a favourite past time during the winter season to go ice skating. I enjoyed the atmosphere near the local museum, sipping hot drink and listening to christmas music. It was a fun gathering.

Lunch with my cell group

We had such a good time spending time together at my home for lunch. I am so bless with my cell group being at my home.

My artsy christmas project

(Slavica & Shakuntala my artsy pals)
I am doing what makes me fulfilled and so content. Doing art for a good cause. Shakuntala and I have a vision to use our talents to glorify God and to use the money to help women who are in need. We spontanously had this idea to just start an art project with creating things and selling them.We have been working on old trays, agendas, boxes and match boxes to beautify them with collage and paper napkins. You can see some of the samples in my 2inspire2dream blog
Being at Joyce Meyer conference, we are reminded to concentrate on things we do best, and that is what God wants us to do. So if you have a certain talent, use it no matter if that looks wierd or not timely. You are glorifying the giver of all good gifts. Since last Saturday, most of our work has been already reserved and we expect all of our work to be a total hit and to sell out well. Right now we are working on 100 pieces of agendas and countless trays and boxes.

I am so bless to bless others with my talents and feel really so deeply enriched. So friends, if your giftings is baking or writing or anything at all... start today

Joyce Meyer in Basel

I visited for the very first time a live conference from Joyce Meyer. It was such a great experience worshipping with Hill Song London. There were a huge influx of visitors from Switezrland, Germany and Austria. The stadion held around 7000 people and it was fully packed. So the organisers had to open additional viewing rooms. Many visitors were not able to participate in the conference as there was no more space capacity. Joyce spoke twice that day, but I have decided with all my friends and cell members to give space to others who has not been able to join Joyce Meyer for the first session. Joyce spoke about love. Faith without love is ineffective. So when you have faith, it has to be combined with Love. Make at least 3 persons you meet smile, learn to compliment them and find good things to say to them. This is the pledge we did after the conference to spread the love of Christ by just being loving and caring.

The journey to the conference took us around 1.5 hours each way, we had to get up around 5.30 am to catch the train to Basel for the 10.00 am session, we were not the first to get a seat, the stadion was alreay packed with people around 8.30 am for the 10.00 am session. Amazing !! might be they were there even earlier.

Expovina - Zürich wine tasting fair

The Expovina wine tasting fair is the largest wine tasting fair in Switzerland and it usually held during the autumn season. The autumn season is where the grapes has been bottled and stored up to be enjoyed and cherished On board 12 boats anchored near Bürkliplatz, visitors to the biggest public wine tasting fair can choose between 4,000 wines from 22 countries and 5 continents. In addition, 6 speciality restaurants offer diners a diverse range of culinary delights.
I enjoy visiting the Expovina to capture new wine products for my wine collection and for the restaurant. This year I concentrated on Swiss and Swiss regional wines. Tried some red and white wine from Galilee, Isreal, was positively surprised by wide range of interesting wine bouquets.

All the 12 boats exhibits around 4'000 wines around the world !! So if you feel that you are swaying, it is not that you have too much to drink, but this time it is indeed the boat that is causing you to lost balance ;-) Well I spend a few hours going boat hopping. It was fun !!
Bought a raffle from my friend who works part time abroad the wine fair and won a bottle of Georgian red wine. I had never won anything before therefore it was such a pleasant surprise and a good souvenir to bring home. Thank you Lord. I will be sharing the wine during my cell group lunch on sunday at my place.

A stroll alongside Lake Zurich

It was one of those gorgeous sunny and mild autumm day. So I decided to go for a walk by the Zurich Lake, been learning to take time to enjoy and appreciate nature. Here are some shots I took.

A day at the park

My nephew Andrew loves to be outdoors, so we tried out our neighbourhood's playground. I am teaching him to play badminton and now he is trying to challenge me to play with him when he visits us during the weekend.
