Dinner for 10

Organized my company's dinner to thank them for their help and efford in making the business to be such a success in 2008. A wierd feeling as this is the last time we are going to be in this group. I am really thankful for each of them in my team and has learned so much in personnel and leadership management. Thank you Lord for using them to refine me in the way you want me to be. I am so thankful to have such a team from different parts of the world. Working together in harmony and accommodating and respecting each other. That is an achivement and a great example. After many years of strive, we are now able to enjoy and understand each other much better. The countries represented here are Croatia, Peru, Italy, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Tibet, Thai, Paskitan, Malaysia and Thai.

Road to recovery 2

My last day at my job will be on the 19 of December 08 and i would just really let loose and have a real celebration on the 20th December my birthday. A new begining for me.
Yesterday my team was introduced to the new manager which would be my successor. A young cook who is suppose to dive into this deep black hole. He does not really know what is in deal to take on this position. He is in his mid twenties and the team seems (as first impression is always important) that he would just give up in the early stages of his time there. My supervisor has been painting beautiful and wonderful szenario of the position. At the end of the short tour of the place and a few handover documentation, he sighed in front of the supervisor and me and said that this is really too much for a person to handle. The supervisor was so vicious and he commented, it only seems a lot but it is not that much to handle. Well I do not really want to take it personally as I know that he is getting back on me.

Please continue to pray for protection and favor as I have heard rumours that the firm is trying to frame me with accusation of mismanagement of finance. So I pray for the schemes of the enemy to scatter and the lies to be reverse. The management want to revenge on me for resigning so shortly esp at the end of the year, where there are so much closures to be completed. Until now they are not able to find any reason to back fire on me. So each steps and day until the 19th december is a very crucial. Let the Lord reign and let righteousness be visible.
Thanks so much for keeping me in prayers in this difficult time.

Road to recovery

My dad's operation has been successful, he undergo a revascularization surgery helps to restore blood flow to the heart. As he had blocked arteries with coronary artery disease and that cause the heart failure. He undergo percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
PCI, also called angioplasty, uses a catheter to inflate a balloon inside the artery. So they were able to treat it well and free his arteries. The other arteries which is not that bad, he would be under life medication and regular checkups. Now they are treating his lungs as it was functioning very poorly. My dad has been a chain smokers for many years and he did not really heed to any of our advise. God is gracious to him and has granted his speedy recovery and time to think the meaning of life.
He was discharged from ICU and has been in a normal ward. All of my mum's family and friends has been visiting him daily. He is indeed surrounded with people who cares for him. At the same time he is going through sport therapy to strenghten his lungs and heart functions. He will be allow to fly home to Zurich on 28 January 09. We shall be all joining him on the second week of Jan 09 to accompany him home. So I will be in Bangkok at this time.

Thanks for praying and standing in the gap for me and my family
