Expovina - Zürich wine tasting fair

The Expovina wine tasting fair is the largest wine tasting fair in Switzerland and it usually held during the autumn season. The autumn season is where the grapes has been bottled and stored up to be enjoyed and cherished On board 12 boats anchored near Bürkliplatz, visitors to the biggest public wine tasting fair can choose between 4,000 wines from 22 countries and 5 continents. In addition, 6 speciality restaurants offer diners a diverse range of culinary delights.
I enjoy visiting the Expovina to capture new wine products for my wine collection and for the restaurant. This year I concentrated on Swiss and Swiss regional wines. Tried some red and white wine from Galilee, Isreal, was positively surprised by wide range of interesting wine bouquets.

All the 12 boats exhibits around 4'000 wines around the world !! So if you feel that you are swaying, it is not that you have too much to drink, but this time it is indeed the boat that is causing you to lost balance ;-) Well I spend a few hours going boat hopping. It was fun !!
Bought a raffle from my friend who works part time abroad the wine fair and won a bottle of Georgian red wine. I had never won anything before therefore it was such a pleasant surprise and a good souvenir to bring home. Thank you Lord. I will be sharing the wine during my cell group lunch on sunday at my place.

A stroll alongside Lake Zurich

It was one of those gorgeous sunny and mild autumm day. So I decided to go for a walk by the Zurich Lake, been learning to take time to enjoy and appreciate nature. Here are some shots I took.

A day at the park

My nephew Andrew loves to be outdoors, so we tried out our neighbourhood's playground. I am teaching him to play badminton and now he is trying to challenge me to play with him when he visits us during the weekend.

House warming party

Amos and Noah boy

(Barbara & Jordan (my goddaughter) with Rahel)

Last weekend I spontanously organised a house warming party. Invited a few of my neighbours and friends over for a glass of wine and snacks. The children enjoyed themselves and the adults were able to relax on a friday evening. It was good to be connected with my friends again.
