Tomorrow will be the official winter sememster start of the uni in Zurich. So I needed to gear up well and be fit to receive new students visiting my 2 canteens. There has been an increase of new students for the winter intake. Right now the exsisting students has been around 14'ooo and now with the added new students, it will be around 18'000 spreaded all around the campus.
The weather in Zurich is getting colder, this morning it rained and we had around 9 degrees. Much too cold for the autumm, and apparently it has been snowing in some parts of the rural mountainous areas last weekend. I had an off day today and enjoyed my workout at the gym and then took a long warm sauna. Sauna really great especially when it is cold outside. It gives me such a fuzzy warm feeling inside. To at least make the body fit for the winter.
For those of you who do not know what sauna is, it is a room heated up with dry heat of around 89 degrees, there your body will sweat out all toxins and really cleans every pores. detoxifying process alongside the lungs, kidneys, bowels, liver and the lymphatic and immune systems. The skin produces cool sweat to regulate the body's elevated temperature. Sweat carries toxins out of the body and flushes them through the pores. After a few minutes depending on how long you can stand it, you come out and get a very cold shower or dip into a cold water tub to cool off. Your whole body will be all red and rosy from the blood gush and circulation. After this torture, you can now just wrap yourself really warm and then lie down in a dim room and just cool down your body with a cup of herbal tea and soothing music. You can repeat this ritual as much as you want to.
It makes you flu resistant. i guess one can only do it in Europe and not in Asia. At times in KL it is already a sauna in itself.
